The next generation in battery backup systems brings a refreshed look, increased processor horsepower, advanced security and configurability to the proven FXM outdoor family.
The INV90AC-400 is the ideal solution for AC-powered small cells and other distributed devices. It is a compact, sealed, standalone, inverter unit to be used with either remote line powering equipment or with the existing HFC infrastructure. The INV90AC-400 can either be powered from a DC input (48VDC to 140VDC) or HFC input (50VACto 126VAC) and provide up to 400W at 89/90/120VAC to power remote telecommunication equipment. Applications include powering Small Cells, MicroCells, WAPs and any other AC powered device where the installation location of the device doesn’t always coincide with the availability of AC power source. The INV90AC-400 is sealed to an IP67 rating or optional IP68 and may be discreetly deployed virtually anywhere: telecom vaults, pedestals, aerial strands, walls, lampposts, poles, sides of buildings, bus stops, etc.
Remote line powering uses power from a centralized source, eliminating the need for AC utility or battery backup at the remote site. This not only reduces installation and operational expenses, but also provides a means to rapidly deploy networks with minimal dependency on the local electrical utility. The AC output of the INV90AC-400 provides flexibility in selection of remote device powering options.
HFC (Hybrid Fiber Coax) infrastructure leverages the cable operator’s existing coax network to provide power to SmallHFC (Hybrid Fiber Coax) infrastructure leverages the cable operator’s existing coax network to provide power to SmallCells. The INV90AC-400 will adapt to the HFC grid to transform the trapezoidal input power source and provide pure sinusoidal waveform for powering Small Cells at much tighter output voltage regulation.
