Satheesh Hariharan,  Alpha Technologies’ Product Manager for Outdoor Systems, has authored an article chosen as the cover story in the May Issue of OSP Magazine, “The Ins and Outs of DAS Powering”.

This is a triumphant achievement, given that OSP Magazine is our primary communications vehicle for connecting with the North American Telecom OSP Market. In the last few years Alpha has invested considerable time and resources in building our thought leadership profile and credibility within this trade publication, particularly in the application areas of Line Powering and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS). 

In this article, Satheesh covers the considerations and challenges of designing a DAS powering network – including oDAS and iDAS remote nodes. His article presents the current generation of AC & DC power products which offer enough versatility to help overcome most powering challenges with indoor DAS (iDAS) and outdoor DAS (oDAS) remote access.
