Power Systems

  • 48Vdc Cordex HP 1.2kW

    Designed specifically for restricted space installations, this 48Vdc power and distribution system incorporates reliable 48V, 1.2kW Cordex rectifier modules and a complete front access design, allowing for all connections in front of the rack channel. The system is a perfect solution for small 48Vdc power applications such as customer premise, xDSL, FTTx, distributed node B and microwave. High efficiency and high temperature operation makes the system ideal for harsh outside plant enclosure installations.
  • 24/48Vdc Cordex PSU

    Alpha's Cordex PSU is an integrated, fully-featured DC power system in a compact form factor. It is designed to provide power to critical loads while enabling remote site monitoring and delivering critical information on demand. The PSU supplies reliable and low output ripple current along with short circuit, over voltage, over temperature and over load protection. It also features advanced battery charging, monitoring and testing functionality. Two temperature, two digital and one analog inputs can be used for monitoring system alarms such as intrusion detection or equipment malfunction.

    Alpha FXM is a line of rugged UPS power modules used worldwide in the most demanding environments where clean backup power is needed. Designed to perform in the most extreme demanding environments, Alpha FXM units ensure equipment in security, communications, traffic, industrial environments, and many other critical applications remains safe and protected from power disturbances. Thanks to its powerful programmable battery charger, the FXM is capable of providing the runtime you need. All FXM models are available in 120Vac and 230Vac.


Batteries

  • AlphaCell BT

    The AlphaCell BT valve regulated lead acid battery features innovative front terminal design to maximize energy density with direct connect extrusion fusion weld technology. These models feature Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) design for efficient gas recombination of up to 99% and flame-arresting, one-way pressure-relief vent for safety and long life. The AlphaCell BT also features threaded copper alloy inserts providing increased safety and reduced maintenance.
  • Indoor UPS Batteries

    The Indoor UPS Batteries, with Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) technology, is a high discharge rate VRLA battery specifically designed for uninterruptible power supplies, power generation, and switchgear applications. Low calcium grid alloy reduces gassing to extend battery life. This high rate discharge cycle battery is available in 12V with capacities from 9 to 34Ah.
  • AlphaCell 195 GXL-FT

    Alpha enhances its AlphaCell battery family to include the FT Series of front terminal batteries for cable television and telecommunication applications. The AlphaCell FT series are valve regulated lead acid batteries and designed for long life. Benefits of these new batteries include: central gassing system, hinged front covers, integral flame arrestor, recyclable lead and plastics and low self discharge rates. These batteries come with a handle for carrying convenience.
